The Gauhati University Institute of Distance and Open Learning has opened a study centre known as Jagiroad College Study Centre with the objective to ensure the opportunity to pursue higher education to the large number of students who could not pursue higher education through conventional mode of education from the academic session 2012-2013 .Jagiroad college study centre, starting with 41 no. of students has completed four consecutive years with good academic environment and result. The centre at present offers MA/MSc/M.Com/ and Diploma courses under GU IDOL.
