The department of computer was established in the year of 1996. The department and lab is located in the first floor of the college building. The lab is spacious and well equipped with internet facility to cater the needs of all students in the lab that can be accommodated. The department has two sophiscated computer labs with 70 computers. All the laboratories are configured by two online UPS. Laboratory wise windows, ubuntu operating system and other s/w have been installed in the computers. Government of assam has given the scheme-ict @college through amtron as a result the college established a computer laboratory with 20 computers all at the cost of the government.
